About

ICE ICE BABY is a fiction story about two polar bears who escape Helsinki zoo and travel home - to Svalbard. They meet other characters - Superman, Jesus and Last Human on Earth on their way.

The creative team followed  main characters to the very Arctic - firstto Kilpisjärvi, then to Longyearbyen in Svalbard, to document their journey. The final result - multimedia stage production was shown in on stage in Helsinki. 

The project aims to raise awareness and draw the audience’s attention to the climate change and the gradual extinction of Arctic fauna, including its largest inhabitant — the polar bear.
