My Role
Set and costume designer
Choreographer
Jerome Meyer
Composer
Rita Maciliunaite
Production
Arts Printing House, Vilnius
This dance production is a poetic satire infused with elements of comedy and humor, serving to highlight gender-specific discrepancies, biases, and toxic societal stereotypes.
Taking inspiration from the choreographer’s point of departure — “chicken, egg, or maybe a rooster?” — I chose to cover the stage with a thick layer of feathers. This tangible element unites the theme and the space while serving as an ironic reference to the well-known ballet classic Swan Lake.
