short film
Norwegian short film director Bjørn Eric Sørensen invited me to create the production design for the short film Broke. The film plot tells the story of two Norwegian families belonging to different social classes and a romantic-dramatic relationship developing between two teenagers of different social backgrounds.
Director asked me to visualise two contrasting family households while sustaining an overall style of Scandinavian suburban aesthetics. To create a tense and liminal atmosphere, I chose a cold and minimalistic color palette, enriched with vividly colored interior accents.
